RIFT 1.3 - Waves of Madness

Starting on June 22, embark on an epic 20-Player Raid in RIFT™ 1.3: Waves of Madness

and begin a new chapter in the RIFT saga.

A dark tide rises and the Waves of Madness are set to drown Telara. Hideous secrets await within the halls of Hammerknell: the secret of Dwarven sins, which filled their city with horrors when the rifts came, and a deeper, darker secret, older than the city itself. Akylios, dragon lord and master of the faceless cult the Abyssal, writhes in the depths below Hammerknell, and only the strongest raid will break through to confront him—and face certain madness.

But before descending into the Delve, the Ascended will have to withstand the Endless Court and the Abyssal's frenzied onslaughts. Both cults seek to control Hammerknell, and if the immortal heroes of Telara hope to cleanse the fortress themselves, they must confront many Faceless and vanquish many Endless, fighting alongside Scotty Malm and the Dwarven Runeguards at the foot of the accursed prison.

Compensation for Phase 2 River of Souls Event

The devs at Trion have acknowledged how much of a fail the event was in its final phases. As a result, everyone will get the following:

Symbol of Purity – This item starts a quest you can complete to obtain

250 Otherworldly Sourcestone
1x - Purified Treasure Cache – Contains a random chance of obtaining one of the special world drop event rewards from the day of the event
- Common – Grave Goods Bag -Unique 20 Slot Bag (NEW ITEM)
- Uncommon - Shroud of Anti-Life – Lorn non combat Polymorph
- Rare – Nimble Spectral Horse – 90% Speed Mount
- Ultra Rare – Swift Spectral Warhorse – 110% Speed Mount
Shadetouched Weapon Cache – The starter item for the Rare Death weapon quests. You can choose whichever level appropriate one you'd like.
The following two Achievements, since not everyone who was (or wanted to be) present was able to obtain them.
- Grim Hero
- Grim Protector

MAR 30 WORLD EVENT

Get ready for the biggest world event rolling with the new patch on Wednesday! The guild will be definitely taking part in the activities and trying to get the rare items so definitely log on starting Wednesday to see what is up!

Unprecedented Invasions & Exclusive Rewards

Starting next Wednesday, Alsbeth the Discordant will lead massive invasions across every zone in Telara, raising legions of liches, ettins, and gravemakers to battle Ascended. Over the course of about a week, participating players of any level fighting these invaders can earn hundreds of new items including exclusive rewards, such as a Spectral Horse and a transmogrifying disguise that turns Ascended into the rotting undead. But be warned: once the rifts are sealed, these items are gone forever.

Raid Zone: River of Souls

If Ascended are successful in their efforts to drive back the invasions, they can journey to the "River of Souls” 20-man raid zone at the edge of the Plane of Death where Alsbeth the Discordant is reanimating the recently departed and recruiting them into Regulos’ army. Guardian and Defiant heroes will have to wade through these decaying hordes to reach Alsbeth and make her account for her abhorrent crimes.

Notable updates include:

*Coin Lock system for preventing hacked accounts from being stripped of money.
*Less aggro range for lower level mobs! FINALLY!
*Mail spam filtering improvements!
